Anything over 200K for this party/drake project is definitely a W

We give props over here and don’t overestimate to set up artists like @thegreatdivine

It's Drake and Party. The fans have been waiting for this linkup for a long time, ain't it? Should be able to do 280-330k at the very least

Nope. All you have to do is see how all their collabs have performed on the charts to know how this album will perform lol. Even if the debut week numbers are decent, it will perform well overtime, if only because most Drake fans (and casual Drake listeners) are waiting for the rap album. No one asked him for an R&B album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, that's something he's doing because he's always wanted to do it. Same way no one asked him for Honestly, Nevermind but he did it because he's always wanted to.

As much as I'm all for it

Not like us is not, and will never be the biggest rap song of ALL TIME, unless something radically changes this year like it becomes tik tok famous for 6 months

I wouldn't call it the biggest rap song ever but it's been tik tok famous ever since it released.

“Experimenting” and these albums being in the same sentence is genuine comedy

Just say you're new to music man

Views/More Life were panned by american audiences because they were too different for what they expected. that is experimenting

To all the dumbasses who still think Not Like Us isn’t the biggest rap song of all time, or at least that it can be argued as such, I have to ask: then what is?

God's Plan is easily a lot bigger lmao. Lets be real

    SZA's 110th week or some s*** is only 500 units from HUT's 2nd week?

shes gotta be top 5 artists in the US at this point. Taylor, Morgan, Bad Bunny, SZA, Drake.

Not saying that she isn't big right now, she obviously is and she has her moment rightfully but it's still insane, she kinda dropped a second album as the deluxe

I think the quality of this project and the fact that people are waiting to hear his take on everything is gonna do a lot for the first week numbers. It helps that he announced the date beforehand, drake stans are also gonna run it up hard. This is gonna do 300k.

Only way it can be excused is if Drake isn’t billed as the first artist or not billed at all

Well yeah, they were lol. Everyone expected Views to be a rap album like IYRITITL. It ended up being mostly an R&B album

More Life is full of UK inspiro/artists & island vibes, none of which was popular in america in 2017

    How?

It had 13 weeks at #1 lol.

The only possible argument here is US too. Globally God's Plan was over double the size of NLU with ease

NLU's impact in the US is way bigger than God's Plan tbh but God's Plan is huge too of course

lol when NLU came out the chart was historically most competitive. Morgan Wallen, Shaboozy and few other songs were doing 500+ points a week a long with NLU which hasn’t happened before in history simultaneously.

    Stop capping

Is that why it only went 2 weeks at the top?

I thought it was the biggest rap song ever lol
