Are physicals shipping this week, or is that all streaming?

    if “also” then sure

but if we go by HLB not being one, One Dance isn’t either

    Good thing both are

No hater s*** but if Drake outsells Kendrick with the PND collab is he still the #1 in the game or did NLU seal his fate?

  • Feb 12, 2025

As a famous ktt2 Drake hater I can admit that HLB, One Dance and God's Plan were all pretty big cultural moments

He hasn't had one since then tho

R&B doesn’t do well overall as a genre. It wouldn’t make sense. The next solo Drake project would really be the accurate metric. He’s also going against the machine so that’s a whole other thing.

Yeah drake should do 250k imo. There is anticipation and people want to tune in to see if he has anything to say.

Highly doubtful, he’s going to be saying anything on this album. The album will probably do 150k-200k. Honestly, Nevermind numbers.

    150k?

A Drake and PND collab should be doing way more than Honestly Nevermind. This is Drake in his element and these 2 have a rich history together.

Lose Yourself is the only one debatable

Some might include Hey Ya as well but I guess it’s not really a rap song

    Wow lmao crazy

  • TheFader

To all the dumbasses who still think Not Like Us isn’t the biggest rap song of all time, or at least that it can be argued as such, I have to ask: then what is?

    No way yall fr

As much as I'm all for it

Not like us is not, and will never be the biggest rap song of ALL TIME, unless something radically changes this year like it becomes tik tok famous for 6 months

maybe on ur rap stations but its peak on the music charts in France was 43rd.. that is definitely not huge

Given that US rap charts lower than french rap and that french audiences mostly don't understand the lyrics of American hip hop, I'd say 43rd is a nice spot for a diss track 🤷
In comparison, Back To Back was nowhere to be seen here when it dropped

That doesn't matter to most Drake fans lmao. His collabs with PND have historically never performed well on the charts too so there's also that.

there’s no way $$$4U doesn't at least sell as much as the metro/future collabs did. 225k minimum

You're comparing a collab rap album to an R&B album? R&B don't perform well typically.

  • Feb 12, 2025

Drake definitely using $$$4U as a soft launch back into dropping music post beef

If it performs well it’s all good

But if it performs bad there’s a lot of reasons you could use to explain why

I think a Drake solo is definitely a better way to gage if the beef actually hurt his career

That being said, If this flops I’m roasting yall the same way you said MM&TBS flopped

It's Drake and Party. The fans have been waiting for this linkup for a long time, ain't it? Should be able to do 280-330k at the very least

Anything over 200K for this party/drake project is definitely a W

We give props over here and don’t overestimate to set up artists like @thegreatdivine

After seeing those projections, I wonder if Kendrick wouldve did 500k+ fw if he had the physicals ready(and a rollout longer than 30 mins)

    double back like a deluxe
