it absolutely isnt. it has 12 days to beat that record and it wont make it
And that's before even getting into Spotify having 600m+ users now vs the 200m in 2018

It had way less consumers in 2018 but rap was at its peak streaming wise at that time and I'm talking in general, not just about Drake
DAMN. did insane streaming numbers too

That's raps problem, not mine
More possible consumers than ever
Also, for the people that always theorize that Drake’s numbers must be way bigger on Apple Music because sometimes they’re not as dominant on Spotify:
As of May 2023, Apple Music didn’t even have a SINGLE song with a billion streams. The highest streamed song on there, as of that time, was Shape of You, with 930 million streams.
So unless every single Drake song has 900 million streams on there, I really don’t see how he’s doing such a massive difference on there compared to Spotify
Apple music is mainly US so most of the streams are in the US. A lot of rappers get more streams on Apple then on Spotify.
Career wise dummy. Drake has dropped 7 more albums than Kendrick.
Why do you think Drake got so many streams? He’s put out 15+ weedplates.
Drake has 8 solo albums and Kendrick has 6.
The greatest.
That's it.
This is a Billboard thread. Don't like it then exit lol
Wow, impeccable timing.
20 million albums. The largest total in a year for any artist EVER.

Sure, but the numbers can’t be doing that much of the heavy lifting. Drake has almost 20 songs with a billion streams on Spotify, and as of May 2023 he had zero

They can though. Spotify is used all over the world. Apple is very US centric. I would say about half of Drake and Kendrick's Spotify streams are from outside the US.
