Tyler's 2nd week is the biggest 2nd week for any rapper's most recent album, right?

She already had 9 #1s by the time he debuted. Iconic music videos, renowned live performances, the first woman with an all-stadium tour, pioneering how music can be released in the 21st century etc.

Beyonce is a cultural icon. Closest thing to MJ as an icon probably.

I think that's fair, I think I maybe have a different definition of popstar to billboard/others though

like Beyonce & Jay Z together really struggled selling out stadiums 6~ years ago, meanwhile The Weeknd is like 15 slots down the list doing it for fun etc, whilst also having his music listened to probably 2-3x more than Beyonce in the last 10 years

Beyoncé just had another stadium tour 1 year ago, in case you don't know...

Didnt he drop on Monday so it is not a real 2nd week. It's half his first and half his second.

Yeah that's the one I was talking about, I remembered she had to discount tickets to like $20-30 on the day of a lot of the shows

I was wrong tho cause Renaissance tour made up for it & more. This plays into my theory about how touring is just way easier now than pre covid. Comparing those On The Run II numbers vs Renaissance is insane

Doesn't work like that. The tracking week ends on Thursday and begins on Friday. While he only had 4 tracking days in the week the album dropped, he had the full tracking week for the second week.

Every day that user proves he has no real world knowledge about anything regarding music and just gets his opinions from charts and statistics
