Tyler has released the biggest hip-hop album since FATD and if we take away Drake releases it's the biggest since Donda... it's insane how he lapped his peers. Even Cole and Kendrick will need to step up jfc congratulations to him fr. Mysterious music won in the end

Why are you ignoring Utopia?

That's the benefit of building a trusted and engaging fanbase. The album might have done closer to 400k with a full tracking week too.
Not a fan of Tyler’s new music but I respect him for building a fanbase like his and the effort he puts in, well deserved sales tbh
Why are you ignoring Utopia?
Damn i forgot about that. Biggest since Utopia then but still Tyler never had to do $5 bundles and fortnite and McDonald's s*** to build up his brand over the years so when him and Ye can do close to 300k without it there's something respectable about it. But Travis up there too I suppose if we're being fair
First SZA got him wiped down, Travis got him wiped down and now Tyler got him wiped down... wild era we're in. 10 years ago those 3 were small acts and now they're all S-tier artists every release

Kendrick still bigger than every rapper not named Drake or Ye. First week sales aren’t law nor science

Tyler just outdid Mr Morale with no THP5 music video, no single, no radio support, not a double LP, and skipping the first 3 days tracking. He is right behind Drake and above Ye at this point. Ye needed 30 songs and a full tracking week with Drake beef promo. Look at Vultures 1 & 2. I know ktt hates Tyler but we got to face the facts. Kendrick dropped his followup song on IG and it did as good as the least popular songs on 100 Gigs which means it came and went...

Kendrick is about to do a stadium tour next year and Tyler will still be doing arenas.
No disrespect to Tyler at all, but Kendrick is bigger. Tyler himself says it on the album
This is gonna get a lil cray cray but hear me out: the overall decline in engagement and consumption with/of albums has forced musicians and deeply music minded folks to understand the album on a dopamine level, and the recently growing exceptions like the examples I have are proof of what I’m saying
It’s only going up. Tyler is further proof
interesting thoughts

You're not wrong. For All the Dogs dropped after Utopia so it is the biggest rap album debut since For All the Dogs.

No it's not
Look at all their sales and streams. Not only the first week sales of Chromokopia
Do you not get tired of this?
Genuine question.
I don't get tired of discussing numbers, nah, wbu?
The thread finally calling mango out on The Weeknd obsession and hate
Yeah there's a lot of people in here really upset that their fav is flopping
the mentally ill BTS stans have moved onto The Weeknd it seems. I can't imagine getting upset that someone's pointing out my fav is flopping
