God's Plan wasn't as big? In My Feelings wasn't as big? Even Sicko Mode. What are you saying?

None of those songs released in this decade

Read the conversation before you insert yourself into it

Before Not Like Us, I honestly can’t even name you the last rap song that really crossed over and transcended generations

You didn't specify this decade. You said you can't remember. I just reminded you.

The topic was “biggest rap songs this decade” and she names three songs from 2018

Very impressive numbers. Too bad he dropped on a Monday. Would have loved to see the album's numbers with a full week of tracking but this might help the album have a much more solid second week.

St. Chroma still has a shot at a #1 debut if it doesn’t drop too hard tomorrow.

It should debut at #1. Halsey's album is tracking for 80-100k.

Yeah, and there are rap songs released this decade that are just as big, if not bigger charts and numbers-wise.

What does that have to do with the charts?

So a rap song stops being a massive hit because unless a President mentions it?

The song transcended rap, and transcended generations. It’s the biggest rap song of the decade thus far, full stop. I don’t care about your stat sheet

The Box, Rockstar, Laugh Now Cry Later, Life Is Good are all just as success as Not Like Us on the charts. The Box and Rockstar are even bigger chart hits just off the amount of weeks they spent at #1 and in the top 10.

Nigga, please. "It transcended rap! It transcended generations!"

All the songs I mentioned are just as known and just as successful by every conceivable metric. Bringing up arbitrary s*** to harp on the success of NLU doesn't matter to the discussion.

It spent 19 weeks in the top 10. Not Like Us spent 21 weeks in the top 10. It had a bigger streaming peak than Not Like Us. It also performed just as well on radio.

    Well that's not true

It always goes back to streams being fake but it's never fake for whoever you're making a case for

I always forget I'm having discussions with a lunatic when I engage in these back and forths. My bad.

Such a huge song that it’s already getting less than 250K daily streams globally

And Not Like Us is just a hundred million streams below it and it’s only been out for six months

The question was about THIS DECADE

As in, 2020 to right now

    It’s really a simple concept

What does that matter? It still did damage during its run and it was a massive hit. It doesn't have to keep putting up monster numbers 4 years after it dropped to validate itself being a hit but I don't expect you to understand that.

I quoted someone who quoted someone who said this:

    And that's a blatant lie.
