Niggas been harping on Dawn FM’s numbers for years and throwing all context out the window

Context being that he sold 30k pure with Dawn FM & now you're saying he'll do 5x that with this new album?

Weeks after the album dropped. Pre-orders were not even available until four days before the album released.

Hurry Up Tomorrow’s pre-orders are already open and the album most likely doesn’t drop for another two months

It’s like arguing that For All the Dogs was gonna do less than 300K because Honestly, Nevermind only did 200K first weeks

Pure delusion, one low selling album doesn’t become the standard for major mainstream artists

  • Sep 10, 2024

Also this is being touted as the “last Weeknd album”, this s*** is gonna do numbers

You cant' exactly call me delusional when you think a Weeknd album is gonna sell more pure than all 3 of Justin Bieber plus Ariana Grande's last 2 albums combined lol, come on

Two artists who have not been truly major in about 5+ years

Weeknd has only gotten bigger since 2020

No lol it'd be like thinking FATD will do less than 300k because every other artist has seen a 50% decrease in streams.

Every other artist has seen a 50% decrease in pure. And you're trying to say that wont happen to The Weeknd

No longer arguing this with you. You will be wrong, I’m just ready for the excuses you’ll make when it does what you say it won’t

Not this argument again lol, I think you're still living in like 2016

Dawn FM physicals were for sale from day 1, shipped week 3, he sold a measly 37k of them from Day 1 - week 3

no R&B/hiphop/pop artist is doing 100k physicals except Taylor now unless they do cheesy digital album bullshit which The Weeknd is almost certainly gonna do

even Ariana Grande just did 42k with Positions, 77k with eternal sunshine and she had to really push the hell out of vinyls to hit 77k. the weeknd is not doing 150k

Dawn FM terrible rollout got yall pipin up huh???

He’s done over 350k every album besides his debut and dawn… we really gonna act like he’s some low selling pop artists like Bieber?

    BBTM: 412k
    Starboy: 375k
    MDM: 150k (6 song ep)
    After Hours: 444k

He’ll be doing more than 350k this album, I’ll put my whole house on it.
