I thought that song was a Nicki song for the longest time lol.
Where ice spice numbers at??
I didn’t even know she dropped an album. Only thing I’ve seen about her in the headlines is her weight loss and Central Cee
3 stacks.
When I first saw this, I thought you were going to post a link that Hey Ya went Diamond lol.
Morgan Wallen's debut album, If I Know Me, dropped back in 2018. Since then, its charted for 304 out of its possible 318 chart weeks. Its 4 singles are certified 3x Platinum, 4x Platinum, 9x Platinum & 6x Platinum respectively. It's certified 3x Platinum as an album and is currently at #76 on the Billboard 200. By every conceivable metric, it's a massive success as well. Just say you didn't know about the album or Morgan till the massive success of his sophomore album.
Again that doesn’t correlate to my point in any way.
My point is that, Drake for example, couldn’t replicate Morgan’s level of charting longevity despite being a bigger star & had a bigger era during Scorpion. why? simply because he already had so many other albums out that more and more of drake’s audience would go back to stream bing those, after Scorpion dies down a bit.
Same thing will happen to Morgan when he’s like 6 or 7 albums. he will not be able to have this kind of longevity even if he grows in stardom.

She failed to debut in the top 20 so she sold less than 25k

Oh, well, that's still left to be seen but I personally don't feel he'll have issues still having crazy longevity with his albums. He knows his audience well and he plays to his strengths. He's also pacing himself release-wise. His debut album dropped on 2018, his sophomore dropped in 2021 and his third album dropped last year. If he sticks to that schedule, it means he'll release 3 more albums before the end of the decade. 6 albums isn't a lot of songs to get through because all fans need to do to keep them very steady on the charts is to keep streaming the singles off each of them. He's already set to end the decade with at least 2 Diamond-eligible albums. If his hype doesn't completely fizzle out before then, he could end the decade with as many as 4 or 5 Diamond albums.

It did? Maybe I missed that.

No it didn't.
I'm saying that I skimmed through "3 stacks" on my phone and was expecting to see a link like that.

We already saw “dangerous” going from doing a steady 50k for like 2 years straight down to 35k when OTTAT dropped.
So logically when he drops his 4th album, OTTAT will also decline to 50k, while the new project itself would probably also fail replicate a steady 65k weekly.
Therefore, the answer to all your questions - “what kind of magic is Wallen doing to have this level unprecedented longevity ???” - is simply that he’s a new superstar in the streaming age & doesn’t have a lengthy discography to divert streams from his current project.
It’s that easy.
