You don't even have to go for his main singles like Toosie Slide or LNCL. Hell even his loosies like Wants and Needs is 5x platinum and that's in less than 3 years when it was on a throwaway EP

Carnival being bigger than any Drake single outside of possibly Sticky is literally delusional but again it was posted by a troll and got eaten up like it was fact by bird brains who can't do basic math and convince themselves a man who identifies as nazi isn't a nazi

Let's not pretend new Drake music is influencing the culture like that in 2024.

Like all great legacy acts, including Taylor, he can move the fans that are already going to his shows in droves. And when FATD songs get played, they move to the bathroom.

Maybe niche is the wrong word then. But a song like IDGAF is not doing the traction it did without Drake’s name attached to it, but Drake’s efforts on the song are not what makes it a hit. Does that make sense?

Another example is a song like FE!N. That would’ve never became a hit if it was a solo Carti song, even though Carti’s part is a big reason why it’s a hit. But Travis’s name is the platform for a song to reach a larger audience

There was a great rebuttal that you haven't acknowledged and probably never would have if I didn't have to bring it up again now. If Drake's efforts didn't make it a hit why is his part the most quoted and replayed? How many rebuttals do you want when you just put something out there that's just objectively and provably false?

I swear it's like half the people in this thread have a weird humiliation kink for quotes
