Tbh, I think the stan wars on here are making a lot of people flip flop on sales.

Hell, this megathread started off as a subtle way to clown Kendrick's fw sales when MMTBS dropped. And Kendrick fans got defensive and brought up numbers when niggas was straight hating on him and calling him washed.

No, this thread didn't start off as a subtle way to clown Kendrick's numbers. It started before MMATBS even got announced. Did you actually read the thread from the beginning or did you just repeat with you saw other users incorrectly say?

Do you guys think we'll see anyone take Scorpion's record as the most streamed album in the US first week anytime soon? It has been almost 6 years now and no one's come close except Drake w/ CLB 2.5 years ago

It did 745m, Midnights by Taylor did 549m so I doubt her next album comes close either. I can't see any of these newer artists ever hitting half of 745m

with how weird music's become I can't see anyone hitting it this decade, if taylor can't then no one can

Midnights had 20 tracks. Her forthcoming album is set to have 16 tracks (17 if she drops a deluxe version on streaming because right now, the only deluxe set to be available are physical versions).

I don't see her coming anywhere close to 700M US streams with her forthcoming album or the one after that tbh. Maybe the album manages to cross 600M US streams but that'll be it.

As time passes, more people will eventually come to realize how crazy it was that both Scorpion and CLB debuted with almost 750M US streams and they're by the same person.
