Taylor but I wouldn't really call it the end of an era. Drake only has the standard and a few deluxe releases in his discography
Taylor has those and all of her re-releases which essentially doubles her numbers since she has 2 copies of each song and album. It's hardly fair to compare her to the other 99% of artists when Bad Bunny and Ed Sheeran don't duplicate their songs
It's still an achievement but less impressive especially when Drake still the most globally overall

your assumption that re-releasing & non-stop releasing would automatically lead to artists substantially bigger is incorrect though.
There needs to be demand for the supply first.on this week's Spotify charts, she has:
#2 most streamed album last week (released 2019, also the most streamed album of 2024 so far)#6 most streamed album (released 2023)
#7 most streamed album (released 2022)
#11 most streamed album (released 2020) &
#17 most streamed album (released 2017), while no no one else has more than one entry in the top 20.
if other artists release like her without a good reason, it absolutely would not work out for them.
