I live in Holland and they do not even play rap here on the radio.
They play pop 99% of the time I would even go that far and say ed Sheeran is more know here in Holland than Drake.
Of course Drake is a bigger star in the USA but in Europe the weeknd is more well known by casual listeners.
And I’m also a fan of both but Drake stans act like their papi is Micheal Jackson when he is not.

I feel like Drake's global peak overseas was 2016-2018. That was when he was so dominant and inescapable musically that even people overseas who didn't listen to rap were f***ing with him.
I feel he's lost his grip on that demo after 2020 and he's become more North American bound popularity wise.
I'm positively certain Abel is bigger than Drake in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Drake might still be bigger than him in Africa though. Lots of Africans still f*** with Drake's music.
