True. I took a break from hip hop in late 2019 and returned earlier this year and I didn't know much about what was going on. I knew of CLB's existence due to friends playing songs from it (mainly Way 2 Sexy ironically) and I knew of Chicago Freestyle but not DLDT. Other than Drake stuff I didn't know about the rise of New York Drill, Yeat, MMATBS, The Off-Season etc... and all the main things that happened in those years. I was still online though. You can be in your bubble super easily, for better and for worse.
