She'd have 6 top 10 hits from the album but Shirt debuted at #11.
I still think she should push FNF as a single after Snooze.

I have a feeling she’s gonna push this album for a long time. Like we’re gonna see music videos come out 2 years from now.

I wouldn't mind it, especially since she likely won't be dropping another album anytime soon. Remember she still has the deluxe version of the album with 10 extra songs on the way. I bet she pushes at least 2 songs off that as well. She might be pushing the album deep into 2024.
I could see SZA push Low next unless she does the deluxe. I could see a remix with Future or somethin

We’re all gonna be old by the time SZA drops another album
tbh this country take over has been brewing all year
how many threads were posted in music sxn talking about how dry hip-hop has been this year for the charts, its been nonexistent all year and industry people notice this and music exec start to draft plans to not bleed money by pushing the wrong genre
u can tell music is shifting and the grip that hiphop had is fading
and what happens when the A tier rappers retire like kenny/cole/drake/ye, whos next to carry the torch and release albums that resonate with the masses and mark a cornerstone for that year with their releases. To have that affect, your music has to reach past just hiphop fans and resonate with listeners who normally would not listen to rap. Music execs most likely see this dilemma coming and are pushing to a new genre
thats my 2 cents
Rap is quickly going down the path of Rock
But unlike Rock there isn’t heavy gate keeping when it comes to new sounds.
So Rap needs a huge shift in sound (mostly in the positive side) to keep up in the change in culture that’s happening in the US.

the real reason why it’s so many songs on there lol

Has pain rap plateaued
Has pain rap plateaued
It definitely has, people have been sick of it since Polo G made the sound popular.
Also the sound being exclusive to street rap hurt it long term.

Idk, I’ve been following UK rap since 2015 and every UK rapper that got big in the UK never seem to crossover like the popstars there.
Even when they get co-signed by US artists like Dave or Skepta, they still get no traction over here and Central Cee is another one with his song Sprinter not even on the US charts but #1 in the UK.

Skepta is not a US artist and technically, neither is Drake.

Dave & Skepta are UK rappers ik lol
I’m saying UK rappers like them get co-signed by American rappers and still can’t crossover.

Well, it takes more than just a cosign to cross over. And many UK rappers tour in the US, so they do have some sort of audience but it isn't big enough for there to be a noticeable impact on the charts or on the radio.

that’s the funny s*** because people on here would always rail against gate keepers just in general, when they’re needed to insure artists can put out quality and also carry the torches of the previous gens before them
now it’s so diluted and homogeneous we need a miracle
