    This seems like another bad drop off for him

    It's kinda expected tbh. The album is done on streaming already. It might not even do 150k next week.

    A dedicated sales thread talking about sales

    Why the hell would this get locked and then lead to tons of threads on their own about this.

    If you don't wanna discuss, don't come in ???

    Fair enough. I just think if your favorite rapper drops their first album in 5 years, you'd go all out in support of it.

    Where is kanye

    Kanye a legend; he not from their generation. That he still sells close or more than Cole and Kendrick in this day says a lot tho

    Cole did 280k

    Yeah, he did 325M streams/37k pure sales for a total of 282k units. Kendrick is projected to do similar pure sales figures and about 25-35M more streams and his album has 6 more tracks than J. Cole's album. That puts Cole above him imo.

    I think we should just wait to see the final numbers at this point.

    I don't get their post at all lmao. Mods are probably happy there's a single thread dedicated to all the album sales talk so they don't have to keep locking sales threads and no one is mindlessly attacking anyone in here. We're just posting away. It's all fun.

    I think cause Drake stans have a tendency to make fun of another artist and use sales for it, while everyone knows no rapper coming close to him in sales. A lot of stans itt doing that. Aint that hard to understand that annoys people. Same happened w The Weeknd. Drake stans feel threatened for some reason, while the sales show they dont have to fear at all. If you was just posting and discussing sales in the thread doubt anyone would care

    and to that you have to add the fact that he is more hated than cole and kendrick combined will ever be

    so that's even more impressive

    People don't realise how important features are for sales, especially these days. it's a big reason The Weeknd's streams aren't that high, it's a big reason Donda just did so well, it's a big reason Kendrick didn't sell more.

    in my opinion;

    a Kanye album with 1-2 fts isn't doing more than 200k-250k.
    a Weeknd album with Travis, Drake, Lil Baby, Rihanna on it etc would do 250k-300k.
    a Kendrick album with Drake, Travis and The Weeknd on it woulda done 400k+
