I remember a conversation we had a while back where you specifically told me that Weeknd fans were getting too cocky and arrogant during the success of After Hours/Blinding Lights, which you said was the reason many Drake fans were clowning us when Dawn FM underperformed. Why is it okay for y’all to celebrate your favorite artists achievements, yet are so quick to shoot down other fanbases for doing the same thing?

thegreatdivineStop saying that. This thread didn't start out as an Anti-Kendrick thread. Many people were foolishly thinking his next album would do upwards of 1M first week and I made a thread explaining why that wouldn't be happening. How is that hating? Especially when I ended up being right?
Again, no one (I'm assuming you're referring to Drake fans here) is scared of Kendrick. No one. Throughout both of their careers, Drake has been the more consistent, dominant and successful act and it's not even close. What's there to be intimidated about?
People dragged Kendrick because he dropped a mid album AFTER talking big s*** like he had a nuclear bomb on the way. That's all. Anyone in their right mind knew even if he dropped DAMN part 2, his numbers weren't going to come close to CLB's numbers because he didn't have the pure sales boost this time around. I broke all of this down in the first few pages of this thread.

Given how Drake Stan’s have acted towards Kenny over the years nobody will put it past you that you were being shady. Well, that's you making assumptions that aren't accurate. I originally made this thread and linked several tweets from Kendrick stans/hip-hop accounts all saying Kendrick would be doing 750k-1m with whatever he dropped next and none of them seemed to understand why that wouldn't be happening and how the musical landscape has shifted since DAMN.
There was a thread about the projections for Kendrick's next album and people in there were saying the same thing about how he'd do 750k-1m first week.
I made this thread to EXPLAIN why that wouldn't be happening specifically so he wouldn't get dragged when the numbers officially dropped and he was NOWHERE near that ballpark.
The girl's tweet I linked to even got dragged on Twitter and had people explaining that Kendrick wouldn't be doing 1m first week and she deleted the tweet and admitted she didn't know the changes that had happened since his last album.
