Both songs going -81 is objectively hilarious if you take the stan goggles off for a sec
This isn't true. Ianahb2 and ianahb outsold c1 first week. Ianahb was a butchered release and it was intended to be ep so promo was different. If c5 dropped in 2014 if wouldve done closer to ianahb2 then 2018 c5.
C1??? I’m talking about the same points in time. Between C1 and IANAHB, there are multiple albums, 100 mixtapes, singles run, features run etc. Both Carters that dropped in the same era as IANAHB 1 and 2 outsold them by 800k+. It’s not even close.

Couldn’t have written how this all played out better if you tried.

"Believe Me" is a song by American rapper Lil Wayne. It was serviced to urban contemporary radio stations on May 6, 2014, in the United States and was released as a digital download on May 28, 2014. The song features a guest appearance by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released as the intended lead single from Wayne's twelfth studio album, Tha Carter V, however the song was omitted from the tracklist upon the album's delayed release in September 2018.
…no it wasn’t
CIV was 2011, Believe Me was 2014 - released as the expected first single for CV

Damn I could have swore it was IV because of how long it dropped before V

It's actually really crazy that two of the biggest rappers broke and then matched this record in like a month
I work for a Russian bot farm and get paid for impressions/likes. Thanks to your quote I can afford bread tonight. Cheers.

ianahb didn't have same promo and it was supposed to be a ep they just added ym album sessions to it. by the time ianahb2 dropped waynes hype was dying c5 wouldve done close to that

I yeah it was a 7 year gap, originally expected for 2014

If we use Google Trends as one measure, Lil Wayne’s hype fell over 100% between 2014 and 2018 and C5 dropping in 2018 wasn’t even enough to make a dent up. It would have certainly sold more in 2014.
all them fell off the sooner y’all accept it the better
we in a new era now
end of transmission
