Niggas writing novels about sales now
“He write more than 2 sentences and I can’t retweet that!”
Should of saw when midricks prediction sales dropped and this was posted king on here

I don't think that a large gap between albums helps at all unless u come back with a hot rollout n big single
Regularly releasing is part why Future, Kanye, stayed so relevant imo
Although on flip side Drake surprise change of direction release so soon after his last album obv wasn't good move either. People can just say idk bout this imma keep listening to clb
It's simple people, 5 years, midrick flopped. Boring ass album. Next conversation

You're talking about good moves from a sales perspective, they're making these moves because it's what they feel like doing, they've already made it.
Well MMBS came and went so they need something to talk about
Y’all need to do better then this, majority of users in the drake thread were talking about mmatbs on the day honestly nm dropped.
If Kendrick had catchy songs like he did with damn and had a proper rollout, he would’ve sold more. End of story. Stop coping.

If MMBS came and went what does that make H,M?

This is straight false lmao

Can you give us some examples of when a rap artist leaving for 5+ years was a sales benefit for their next drop?
Kendrick = flopped.
Drake = flopped.
Let's come together and spread love like mayo, y'all ♥️
Ain't y'all tired of this senseless back and forth? We could be talking about any number of more interesting things right now.
I wanna talk about Chris Brown's album and what numbers it might put up compared to Luke Combs' album, which drops the same day, but I can't 'cause y'all are still on this stale s***
I didn't expect Drake to sell in the low 200s either, even with it being a house and surprise album. And you said it yourself - he's the biggest in hip-hop. That's why I expected him to sell more than the Kendrick album which also has valid reasons for it not selling as well as it should've
I’m starting to think the people who thought the majority of drakes fanbase are pop listeners/white girls expected this album to do regular drake numbers
Yes, the biggest hip hop act flopped with a non hip hop/r&b album. what are we even doing here
Kendrick = flopped.
Drake = flopped.

chris is gonna flop too I think
I think his album is gonna be the same s*** he's been serving us for a while now but without a hit single
Kendrick = flopped.
Drake = flopped.

No one f***in’ with those country boys
They’re way more culturally relevant too. Adele played herself playing it safe. Outside of Easy on Me, what else are folks playing?

Is 80-100k a flop for Chris, though? His last album had No Guidance and still did 108k first week so I don't see 80k as a flop for him (if he does around that). A flop will be like 40-50k.
I think next week's Billboard 200 will look like this:
1. Luke Combs
2. Bad Bunny
3. Drake/Chris Brown
4. Chris Brown/Drake
So this is going to be the year of flops
No one f***in’ with those country boys
Luke Combs is the #2 force in country music after Morgan Wallen. The guy casually outstreams a lot of rappers every year and he just blew the hell up in like 2020. Since then, his streaming numbers have grown every year.

Of course but we talking about what influences sales
It's actually a defence of them both against people saying the albums flopped because of their quality
