not gonna lie save the Donda 1 thing, if he had a verse from Drake, Hov, Kendrick or Wayne, it would have saved this too but we really didn’t have any standout feats like that on here

And to bring it back to the artist in question, he's the one years ago who made a decision to make his album a "living breathing expression" that's everchanging, and seems to carry on that philosophy in his later material and performances.
So maybe he is satisfied with this trial performance, who's to say
