I keep coming back to the f***ing Dustin Hoffman line.
I care about every single line of my music I write, trying to make it fit into the vision.
This one is too far.
second listen was soooooooo good
Once you get past that the first two tracks are in desperate need of a mix you can enjoy the rest of the project
WHY THE F*** WAS BLACCMASS INVOLVED AT ALL THAT GUY IS LITERALLY ED
lmfao I thought that was a s***post from his twitter
you know what he was involved with?
Jail song is top tier ye, same potentially with Family song and God Breathed On This
Rest is mostly wildly disappointing, idk maybe I can convince myself that it’s just a raw aesthetic and Ye’s response to people leaking his demos and preferring them to the real album. I really thought he was gonna put more into this tho. Beyond the mumbling I kinda didn’t love how so much of it felt more like JIK2 than Donda. Not saying he has to leave behind all the Christian stuff but idk it kinda makes the project feel like it doesn’t have its own identity fully.

but have you considered that Dustin is a Hoffman?
WHY THE F*** WAS BLACCMASS INVOLVED AT ALL THAT GUY IS LITERALLY ED
why'd you come at him like that
Rumors that he's pissed off. But not sure if they're legit.
Why he pissed
He wasted all this hype (ad on TV, Instagram comeback, stadium event) to play unfinished songs
I rly like this more recent kanye since he released ye
It’s just more interesting and speaks to me more than his earlier work
I think ye might be his best recent album if we don’t count TLOP. I think lyrically at least on the personal songs was really tapping into something there
It shows that Kanye still has a good ear for music/beats but he’s just too lazy to focus on properly flushing out a concept anymore
Yeah this may be the truth unfortunately but this s*** has some real high highs. Higher than JIK. More finished the JIK. If he doesn’t finish that intro I’ll be livid lmao

THE FUYCKING POPSMOKE SONG. YE DIDNT EVEN GIVE HIM THE STUDIO ACEPLLA THE F***ER RIPPED IT FROM YOUTUBE MAN F*** KANYE F*** THIS . MAKE THE ALBUM GOOD DROP THE LAS VEGAS VERSION + FINISHED MOON AND JUNYA WITH THE LONGERT CARTI VERSE
Literally the only bad part of the album is the first synthetic ass hook on hurricane.
huge stain: where the f*** is the donda title track?
The Glory chorus is beautiful

If you were there you’d think differently
which of mbdtf, late registration, college dropout, ksg, 808’s, yeezus or tlop are you really ranking this over?
you are really calling this unfinished mess top 3 kanye off that one listen lmao
i mean damn it just shows some people have their mind made up before they hear anything
I don't mind his verses on here but I'm okay with the fact he let them shine more
Hopefully future albums will have less and less ye vocals until we get Kanye Khaled, either that or dude needs to try a little harder
between "intermittent fasting" and "made in the image of god that's a s e l f i e " Hov is worrying me lol.
Pop Smoke track not on the album
I mean considering that verse is already out on faith i would really hope not

he succumbed to the negative reception to ye and JIK in a way and rapped less and made it more expansive for sure
I enjoy it for what it is
