I like the songs regardless but

nayf and lotp seem like essential parts of the actual album

idk why they're pushed to the deluxe version as opposed to songs like okok and junya

Ditto. I think they are 100% supposed to be part of the actual album but Kanye got cold feet with Never Abandon and catered to Andre's request by not putting LOTP on there. Hopefully at some point they're integrated into the central tracklist or Donda reveals its final form and we realize it doesn't matter since it's more than an album. Regardless, they're integral and should have always been on there.

As I said earlier though about LOTP, he needs to keep the lyrics about his mom and the whole beginning of that Vegas verse (or even the Donda lyrics from the diss verse). Weird to have removed the first part of the Vegas verse especially since Andre is on there spilling his heart out.

absolutely agree with the first two paragraphs especially the second one (the third one im pretty fine with the cover and would trim just the pt2 songs and tell the vision - but i understand kanye probably wanted to tribute pop smoke so im fine with that i absolutely get it even though i think it could have definitely been done much better)

i really love like all of the songs on there but i kinda feel like its just a huge collection of songs (almost a playlist) and not really a conscious album standing on its own (dont get me wrong im not tryna say it feels empty at all it definitely has a LOT of soul) - at first i thought maybe im not a fan of the sequencing but i dont think thats the case, i feel like there couldnt have been much better done with sequencing, its pretty fine i think

still i absolutely love it for what it is and wouldnt really want to change it (maybe the pt2 tracks were a bit unnecessary but if its what ye really wants then im fine with it)

its like everytime almost any song from donda plays its pure ecstasy but i do not really enjoy listening to it as a whole and sitting through it that much (unlike other kanye albums)

thats the only complaint but yea i love it for what it is

but on the other hand i guess thats what makes it unique and honestly i love it when im just obsessed with a new different song from there everyday its a great feeling
