e tI love the album, it’s a personal 10/10 for me but I could see how from a critics perspective it would be shat on. God Breathed, Junya, 24 and Off the Grid, for example, are all so different from each other that the album loses cohesiveness and flow.

cohesiveness is a tired idea
When you have 808s and Yeezus to compare to though, it knocks this s*** down from a critical standpoint. I feel like JIK got higher reviews strictly because of cohesiveness because it’s objectively a much worse album to anyone with ears.
