you're misreading me as if im comparing them technically, im referencing both of their cultural legacies and how them being overrated is besides the point
to call them hacks is dragging it but is there something pretty stupid and overly fetishized about their allure? yeah
daft punk is 70% visuals and nostalgia, 30% music. this 30% is what makes some tracks from alive 2007 and discovery special. but if you compare them to someone like todd edwards, frankie knuckles or theo parrish they look like two conmen
