answering your question from yesterday before i head out:

too long, too many songs are completely overtaken by the features. i know people said the same about tlop but i never agreed, definitely think that's the case this time though. i think some odd choices were made, like turning the most introspective song on the album into a posse cut. also most egregious imo is that it just doesn't feel like an album dictated by kanye. i guess it shares a lot with tlop but at least tlop always felt like kanye was pulling all the strings, doesn't feel like that here to me

And it’s like even the songs where Kanye is on them, it’s a mixed bag.

It’s either too short, mumbled without lyrics, lyrics but sounds shakey and rough
or a few spots where he sounds great like jail, lord I need you
