It’s hard to describe this but junya might be the best use of a feature on the album
Not necessarily the best feature on the album but Carti is used perfectly to elevate junya to greater heights that wouldn’t have been possible without him

ANTIanswering your question from yesterday before i head out:
too long, too many songs are completely overtaken by the features. i know people said the same about tlop but i never agreed, definitely think that's the case this time though. i think some odd choices were made, like turning the most introspective song on the album into a posse cut. also most egregious imo is that it just doesn't feel like an album dictated by kanye. i guess it shares a lot with tlop but at least tlop always felt like kanye was pulling all the strings, doesn't feel like that here to me
interesting take - I can't fully consider it until the full album is out and we know a bit more about the creative process behind it
feel like kanye at end of the day in the studio will drive decisions, he picks and chooses what sounds good and who he wants. features are a lot but as an overarching producer he can sit back if he wants to, or if he doesnt think his own verse will add enough to the song
and i dont really see how tlop can seem like he's pulling the strings, but with donda he's not - he's the one in front of the whiteboard
