Was BLM a scam or the organization?
The organization definitely is
But I’d go as far as saying the movement was partly a scam too…
Might be a bit controversial at first, but nothing in this country really changed since the George Floyd protests in 2020.
The police were never really restructured or defunded in anyway. In fact, they got more money.
The politicians seemed to have just used it for votes.
Hell, even Biden is pushing for more money for police now.
Edit: just to be clear, I do support the BLM movement. But my point is that it hasn’t been a successful movement yet, and many politicians co-opted BLM for votes while not doing anything.

ONE organisation of BLM. The local chapters at the grassroots level have been hung out to dry with no funding too. All got funnelled to Patrisse and Alicia

What I'm saying is why not just ignore the organization?
Think about it like this, the organization articulates the idea of the movement. The people give the movement power. The power of the movement gives the organization political and financial clout which they should use to trigger change.
It HAS to work like that with all the steps l, otherwise nothing will change.
