Side note: we're extremely fortunate Ye blew up pre-streaming and got so many classics because the digital only era has given this man his own green light now to underperform and half ass for the last 8 years

I haven't listened to him in years and have forgotten most of his stuff but I'm not mad at the rankings. And ofc I'm prob less of a Jay fan than you and have a harsher rating system. I'd give his best album an 8/10

Yeah Vol 1 is easily a 9/10 album and thats one that always gets written off as one of his bad ones thats why I dont think people rate his discography fairly

It does have 2 terrible songs that were singles so I get why people have a sour memory with it but its literally some of the best rapping I ever heard aside from those 2 joints. 12 tracks of pure perfection and then 2 singles that are awful lol
