Irregardless if you agree with him or not, Kanye is one of the most interesting and compelling public figures to ever exist.

Yea i feel like Ye not crazy, he just gives into his whims a lot more now. That means if he read or sees some conspiracy s*** he feels he agrees w, he’s just gonna go w it, and not rlly think abt it too much. Makes him super susceptible to populist politics n weird religious s***, which sucks, but I think what he’s going thru is just natural for someone who “has it all” but still feels incomplete

    good post

When the f*** did Kanye go from religious but pretty reasonable and logical to like completely insane religious
Like he’s talking about vaccines that stop you from getting into heaven, non separation of church and state etc

    I miss the old Kanye...

    First Take

Interesting take tbh. Makes sense tbh. He’s not the biggest artist or fashion designer in the world anymore but still his tweets are segments on mainstream news, there’s always interest in what he’s doing no matter what

surely he's bigger than ever in fashion?

but yeah Pablo was the last time he was in that top tier music discussion for the mainstream. his albums still do decent tho first week compared to other legends. jik outsold ye first week too. songs like follow god or all mine still stream better than a lot of other legends too despite probably not getting that much mainstream radio play or playlisting, and follow god sounds more like a freestyle than a single.

    hey man relax

people dont realize how deliberate kanye is regarding much of what he does

he knows what he’s doing, people are going to be in shock when they read this article. he’s putting himself in the general consciousness as quickly as possible, which is done through speaking with a platform in preposterous ways, on controversial topics that sit in the epicenter of public discourse.

He’s a jester in the ultimate sense, a step ahead of his own joke every single time. As time goes on, he will begin to crystallize his visions and policies more and more until before you realize it, he has done what previously seemed impossible to you

But as of right now, speaking with such overt religious speech will not only leave the general public waiting for what he has to say next, but will make one of trump’s arguably biggest crowds possibly reconsider their vote

the funny thing is that people on this site, after all these years, still can’t recognize when he is doing this. But that’s the point anyways, he wants the push and pull of hate and love, doubt and certainty, because it will subconsciously make you more invested over time

Man I wish but I dont know this time

one more thing ill say is its difficult for me to understand why this creates more emotional investment in the age of cancel culture.

at this point im so tired of having to watch people tear this man apart that i really want nothing to do with his antics

how many times do you think one has found out about someone through something they said that many were offended by? it is easily the easiest way of modern exposure

When he said Bush doesn’t care about Black people or doing the VMA thing there were people calling him crazy, but we just thought he was right and outspoken. Now we think he is crazy and the other side thinks he is right and outspoken.

    hey man relax

not sure of your experience with people who hold their christian values over anything else, but if kanye rides that wave harder then trump it will most definitely cross their mind

nope sorry, the type of people you are describing have already likely set their mind on who they are voting for (that being trump), only a very small amount of those people in the bigger scheme of things will turn to a Kanye, you'd be very mistaken to think otherwise

Kanye's biggest base will be apolitical people who don't care for this election in the first place and weren't already gonna vote and s*** like this might even push them away
