I think releasing an album and going on a stadium tour off the bat was probably not the move.

I know he did a written apology, met with some rabbi's, etc., but for the general public/anyone who's not a stan, he could have rehabbed his image with a sit-down interview, some very clear denounciations, and/or some charity work. Going straight into an album cycle looks like a money grab and overshadows the sincerity of his actions.

Forgiving part is on the group that is affected. If they don't want to it's their choice and right.

In my opinion you should be understanding of people with medical illnesses and should not judge them for something they did not have control over.

I get that he might not want to dwell on it but that's the bed he made. He's a public figure who did some foul s*** and has to face it and own up to it. It's not like forcibly trying to move on has worked out so far either.

As for the interview, he could easily sit down with someone he trusts who will give him a fair interview. Charlamagne, Sway, Big Boy, hell even Zane Lowe. All of these guys I think would be willing to sit down with him and give him a chance to explain himself.

Him having bipolar disorder isn't in doubt, my teacher even used him as an example during our class on bipolar disorder.

I think the smartest thing he could ever do is not use his beliefs/personal life to promote his artistry ever again. It's probably a toxic situation for him and I doubt any decent person around him would encourage it even if it's what the public wants.

The best thing for him in my mind would be to focus on creative endeavors and to not play the normal celebrity games

He obviously could have given it more time before deciding he would try to headline festivals, but he also probably wants to try to deliver for fans that he massively disappointed with his whole episode
