I don’t think Kai expressing he thought anime was weird is an uncommon opinion for a black kid growing up, especially since he’s shown to be more into sports and lifestyle s***. plenty niggas, myself included, thought that s*** was weird until high school which was my first chance I had to experience more cultures, but even then, the niggas who were into anime were the nerdy black kids and Asians lol. that s*** literally didn’t change until the last 10 years, and by then Kai was nearing graduation
