Lil baby did make that one song where he said it’s bigger than black and white
remember when he said that he was never going to get a tattoo and then ended up getting some garbage looking tats
Like why even say that? If yall cosign that, then by all means rock with bro. Yall got it.
Wow so scandalous
Look at cracker broad still so sensitive over a lukewarm critique that had nothing to do with him that sent him into a tizzy for two pages to the point he started doing background checks and statistic countings
You do know this isn't an RIP thread right? You know you can still critique something by someone that passed away right? You know I still have respect to him in this thread right?
You an over emotional weirdo cracker broad, get off the internet and dry your phone from all them tears over nothing that derailed an entire thread with your psychotic fit

"double grain of sand" a good one
I'm stealing that
No disrespect but his album was pretty weak. Idk about the sales tho
I believe a friend of the family confirmed it around his passing, just really hard to think/talk about so doesn't get brought up much. this song feels like him ruminating on it
!https://youtu.be/boCPX9mssd0?si=Ex6rVBd8lB6Sy24cIts no coincidence borrowed time was the last video he made.
literally sounds like an audio * “note.”
Rapping for rapping sakes is not the same about a Rap subject literally being about Rap in itself.
A few lines in a verse or a freestyle? Cool. A whole song? Nah.
It means or helps nothing while being disconnected from most listeners.
Now songs like I Used to Love Her that aren't played so straight are a better way of doing it, to me.
If you think this song was strictly about rap music, you didn't listen hard enough.
Also the fact that this was his last song is haunting asf man. The screams in the background are crazy
"I'm here for you.. sweat, bled and shed a tear for you..."
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMySMPLcx7I&list=RDAMySMPLcx7I&start_radio=1Yeah, I remember the first time I listened to the album. I got chills on this closer. The fact he closed the album with it is what bugged me out. He seemed to have a habit of closing his albums on high notes (at least by Ka standards). This disturbed me when I got to it the first time I listened. Effective as hell though, and the whole album is a masterpiece. Possibly his best in my opinion.
I said this earlier but I wanna clarify that I don’t think KA sounded bitter but you know usually when older rappers express these sentiments and critiques of younger rappers, they usually are met with ridicule and “out of touch” comments. I agreed with everything he said. It was just interesting to see not a lot of push back from this song, but I agree with him
I didn't even take this track as speaking to only young artists. I felt he was speaking to his peers as well. The whole industry too, both behind the mic and behind the scenes. Especially behind the scenes. This song reminds me a lot of OutKast's Return Of The G. OutKast were talking straight to their peers when they made that song, and it was the opener on Auquemini (well, after the little intro). I also feel like when all this d*** and gangster rap first started blowing up in the late 1980's, it was a lot more thought provoking and unique. It served a purpose until all the copycats started coming out of the woodwork, and that happened quickly. I can't lie like I don't still listen to misogynistic and violent music, but I will say that it does get exhausting a lot more quickly than it used to. Brick upon brick upon brick upon brick upon gun upon gun upon gun and some jewelry and some European fashions and some b****es and on and on. Yeah, it's tiring. Ka's take on this was incredible and executed as meticulously well as all of his songs.
