This gives HBO Max (who needs original content) one of the easiest pushes. They have a mini series now that they can put out like Disney did the Mandalorian, and instead of having to pay $100M for it to film and produce, they just give Snyder 20M to finish whats already been filmed. Its just too convenient and timely for a new service
Alright, so what's wrong with Duck's alternative conclusion? He has a case. Snyder has been doing that s*** for a while with the suicide campaign, meanwhile he was s***ting on WB for a while and boom, out of nowhere (2 years since it released) the cast was in on it, feeding into the hype, and now, during a f***ing pandemic he wants to put out a run of the mill blockbuster that isn't even that important by next year talmbout, "I know this a hard time for everybody, we all need hope" just to sell his movie for a streaming service, sounds a little too convenient, no?

maybe it’s a bit of a grey area but can’t help but think he was fired considering the frankenstein movie we got that goes against all of his past movies. if he walked away amicably feel like the movie would’ve been closer to his vision
