I had a rush of emotions watching that scene and it’s the one I keep coming back to. I just can’t comprehend the mindset of people like this.

HBO Max has everything BUT highly viewed Original content I don’t get it like your key is right there.

Them spin off shows like Reeves GCPD and Gunns Peacemaker will do well but they’re really just cool bonus content to the films it’ll only go so far

Once those WB releases dry up they’re going to need consistent high quality content and the HBO Channel shows won’t be enough. Just re-up your most successful Original movie

What is so cringe about this logic is the idea that the writer assumes she isn't already in love with him at first sight as well. Its such a beautiful recontextualization of time and motion that Snyder masterfully executes here. He falls in love with her through what seems like an eternity but she is clearly aware of him even if it was for a millisecond. Its a beautiful sentiment and its pretty cool to see Snyder do essentially what Nolan did for a whole movie in Interstellar with one scene like that.

Exactlyyyy. Letting Snyder make multiple films exclusively for Max would be such a great marketing and business decision.
And its something that no other streaming service has done yet, letting a director continuously release their exact vision without any studio interference
