This is where I'm at. Watchmen, BvS:UE, and even MoS had enough substance to keep me engaged.

Whedon cut was a slog. This was also a slog, but w/o the corny Whedon s***. It was just replaced with all the self-indulgence of Snyder that I'm indifferent about and better characterizations (specifically Flash & Cyborg).

It was so satisfying. Even if just a taste, seeing the potential there and getting a proper peek into the dynamic and history with Batfleck was all I wanted.

Got minor Pennywise vibes from that hand trembling + stare. It was a really cool back and forth

As a major major fan of 2017/2019 pennywise, I love that comparison you’re definitely right, had that same nuanced character embodiment

And I agree, I love that Zack didn’t wanna potentially leave this project without giving us ONE Batman and joker scene

everybody really tried to convince zack snyder that this movie didn’t exist as if it was some conspiracy.

he can still be good too, thought he was solid in br2049. dudes a walking metoo time bomb so needs to get in at least one more good role before hes cancelled

Favorite role of his was american psycho soley becsuse of that lil dance he does

Acting oscars are literally the only type of awards left that are still indicative of skill/talent

I’m a casual superhero movie fan and the only ones I’ve ever considered top tier were logan, dark knight 1+2 and civil war

Im so happy i watched this without seeing the original made it wayyy more enjoyable but I could tell what scenes were from the original

Hes a great actor,the joker was just awfully written and designed,cant blame him

That first scene was super cool with the theme and then it started to play everywhere,was super annoying

After letting the movie sit for a while I'd say overall it's a solid introduction to the justice league and things to come. That amazon fight scene is one of the best in a super hero movie. Leto kind of ruined that epilogue scene. But everything else was solid. I'd give it a 7.5/10. Would have expected the sequel to get dark again like BvS
