There still is a DCEU but they’re not going to be reliant on crossover

So Aquaman, Flash, Shazam and Wonder Woman still take place in the same universe but they’re not going to reference each other or have forced crossover. They’ll come together when there’s another Justice League movie.

Pattinson is in his own universe that is being built out by Matt Reeves.

If another filmmaker boards a DC project and wants to do their own thing they’ll let them.

It’s beyond that. There’s already been those rumors swirling about wanting to have 2 different Batman’s operating at the same time among other things. An absolutely idiotic idea, unless we talking Batman beyond, in my personal opinion. I think the entire idea or any idea about universes, extended universes, multiples universes, whatever should be absolutely dead. Joker was a good attempt at just making a good movie. I didn’t enjoy it personally but respect the attempt. Batman feels like it’s going to be phenomenal. Cool, let’s keep that energy going. We don’t need all this other goofy s***.

Black Panther was dead ass a really weird movie for people to group around. The sentiment is that the solution is to work with the American government, the same entity that is response for why black people in America need the help from Wakanda in the first place?

They effectively turned T'Challa into a neoliberal and Killmonger is the Malcolm X type that is turned into a psychopathic villain.

And Peter Parker in the new SMs are disgusting. He is effectively a billionaire's little b**** who goes around trying to please his master by taking out working class people that have been f***ed over by Stark's capitalist tendencies and turned into villainous psychopaths because I guess thats what Disney thinks the unemployed are?

Anyways, Snyder has always known the right messages to tell. BvS's position on how corporations and the media have teamed up to manipulate society for their own selfish desires is a take that is too ballsy for Hollywood and the braindead MCU fanbase

Every time the MCU tries to deal with real world issues it gets messy. They tried to make Captain American anti-government which was a genius move (cept Snyder had already done that with Superman in Man of Steel) but it just never made sense within the MCU. Shield have always been foot soldiers for the government, The Avengers not directly taking orders from the elite doesn’t make them any less a part of the government system. On top of that they turned almost all of Shield & the US government into Hydra which just ruined how cool the idea was initially. Also the whole conflict between Tony and Cap having different opinions about the government wanting to regulate them was quickly brushed aside, they made it more about their views on Bucky and how he assassinated Tony’s father.
