Batman cinematically has a crazy uphill battle. TDK is most casuals favorite superhero flick. Even those weirdos who say "i don't like capeshit but I love TDK" can't see anything beyond that version of Batman and the Joker especially given Heaths performance and death. Even though at times Bales Bamtan is dry compared to JLU/BTAS Batman, niggas would never say "some new batman movie" is better than TDK. Even if it was way better.

I think a lot of people can. Don't think Batman is a hard character to play or write for. Thats why everyone's so eager to do one.
But to me thats what makes Batfleck and battinson fans the same to me. They fall in love with the idea and "potential", rightfully so. You get some set leak pics and someone photoshops the actor in a batman costume or they put the actors boring ass face next to some obscure face shot of Bruce and then niggas hyped all over again. Then TDK purist can't even tell you their favorite batman scenes.

They just remember the feeling and won't accept anything else

First Avenger is underrated
Winter Solider is really top 3 MCU
Civil War is top 5 MCU

Batman Begins is a solid beginning
TDK is legendary none of the cap trilogy touches it
TDKR is good and overhated but definitely not as good as the rest of this trilogy, kinda slumps the trilogy
