BvS is top 3 CB movie of all-time.

Can't be when Watchmen, Dredd, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World exist.

Blade is too underrated. I prefer 2 though.

you cant beat the beginning scene in blade 1. frost is the best villain out of all of the movies as well i think

cant wait to see how marvel handles the blade reboot. it might be the 1 movie im waiting for the most from them

I'm on the same page, there's so much potential there. Until the X-Men arrive that's most anticipated for me as well.

yea x-men and hulk if we ever get another solo, would be my other 2.

FOX did a s***ty job with a lot of the characters, i hope marvel doesnt feel hesitant to just reboot them and bring them right back. i think i heard dr doom might be the rumored villain for BP2. i hope we see apocalypse again as well, not that ivan ooze bullshit

I'm confident they'll handle it right. Doom in BP2 would be amazing and really unexpected. It would be a cool way to tie in one of the great villains in an exciting way.

If they can nail Fantastic Four, I already know they'll deliver with X-Men, man....

i just rewatched the bvs ultimate edition - its rock solid, but i think the story is too forced with them trying to line up batman and superman so they cross paths. their mother having the same name, lex manipulating superman, lois' involvement etc.

its just too much. you could have just had them as rivals in the beginning, and then have the 2 come together in the end to stop whatever villain. wonder woman comes in and helps as well. sometimes keeping it more simple is better than going overkill on the story

This is exactly what happens. You described the movie. Things don't just happen though they need a reason to happen. Superman needed a plot while Batman was trying to bring him down and that's why you have Lex manipulating him throughout the movie. Lois was probably just thrown in because Amy Adams is recognizable and most people will agree with the Martha bit though.

eh, i would have just done it like this. batman and superman dont like eachother, face off as bruce wayne and clark kent and encounter eachother and trade some words

you cut out that bs of having superman and batman fight because of lex, maybe you do something similar to dark knight where joker has harvey and rachel, instead now its lex and he has lois and martha. superman goes for lois and batman goes and rescues martha, earns supermans respect after. then you do the end fight

i didnt like the lex dynamic much at all, i feel like he manipulated them personally way too much. i think lex is better off when hes manipulating other people - the general public, the government, other villains etc.

You could say the Joker manipulates Harvey Dent and Batman too much in Dark Knight then. Idk, personally I really liked the plot in BvS.

If we compare 300 to the rest of Snyder’s filmography and pair that with his philosophical interests, we can conclude that his best creative instincts must lie in anything ancient, epic and mythical yet gritty

Although it was for the best that Snyder wasn’t in the director’s chair for Wonder Woman, his instincts being present in what he brought to the story, along with the setting, was perfect for the material. Patty Jenkins and writers Allen Heinberg and Jason Fuchs (lol) perfectly filtered Snyder’s “voice” while honoring the essence of his action and tonal style, which was also brought to life by cinematographer Matthew Jensen

The sequel to this film needed Zack Snyder’s voice in the story, along with Alan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs (it also didn’t need Patty Jenkins or Geoff Johns on the screenplay/story). He may not work for heroes like Batman and Superman, but he was perfect for ancient heroes like Wonder Woman

As much as I talk about the bits of BvS I dislike, I actually like the movie and I'd probably be more hyped for current dceu if they kept that tone and style
