Full wings have always been a lil pricey. At least I noticed them going up more than usual back in 2018 or so. If you gotta farmer's market that has quality meats I'd recommend scoping them out for affordable options.
spoiled, soft, pathetic, spineless, and cowardly @ everyone itt crying about highly subsidized meat prices
without govt subsidies a whole chicken like from costco would be 35+ not just 5
wake up to the fact that you've been programmed, f***ing robots
than just what is shown in shock-value brochures that are funded by companies that still have their hands in those same slaughterhouses.
Can u toss me some names or sources to track down about this cuz it sound a lil sus.
let's not act like it's no way for animals and humans as far as predator to prey can coexist
The only way I see it coexisting at our current population levels is if everyone eat like, 6oz meat a month lol. Animal ag has all but wiped out wild animals and their habitats. Things have to be reined in a great deal before we get even close to something resembling "sustainable" meat.
Anyway, I hope you can stop coming for my neck now even tho i'm pale as deaths skeleton itself.
main one is sus ass peta.

peta do be like that
thats why my donations and actions go elsewhere
plant-based is a diet
veganism is a philosophy
Also if your diet personally isn't part of your identity, go vegan for all of April.
I barely eat animal products as is but when I do they’re pastured and sustainably raised without cruelty on family farms. But I don’t go around telling everyone I meet about it and shaming them for whatever their habits are.

Sounds nice man, you do you and i'll do me!
This s*** deadass more expensive than steak now. A world where chicken isn't affordable, s*** feels like a Twilight Zone episode.
Starting to think my neighbor with chickens in his yard was on to something
Agreed. So f***ed. Chicken of all things. Hope the meal was good tho
Sounds nice man, you do you and i'll do me!
Exactly!
Yo I did buy two packs of chicken thighs on accident, but I don't make em often, guess I am gonna have to start saucing them up
they feel way easier to cook than breats and wings too
Where y’all seeing these chicken prices? America? This thread suspiciously Canadian ngl
Invasive species don't breed the animals they're consuming??? That's why they're so bad because they hunt and hunt and hunt, with nothing replenishing what they're hunting. Hence humans in the past hunting animals to extinction. But that's what those humans did to survive, but now because we've built a flourishing society, herbs like you just go around shouting s*** while going to the same market for your veggies. What would you have done in hunter gather times I guess you would've still been the model human.
We only replenish like, 6 different animals that we eat. The rest? Get absolutely f***ed. Tell me how its totally fine to raze the amazon rainforest to plant crops to only feed to cattle. Did the animals and ecosystem in the amazon not deserve to just...live? What about fish? Ever since the 80's fishing technology has only ever grown and got better at catching fish, and yet the number of fish caught has only gone downhill. We on track for fishless oceans before 2040. The only fish will exist in aquaculture farms. Tell me how that's better than any other invasive species.

Did you know that even though 3/4 of agricultural land is used for livestock that the remaining 1/4 for crops contributes over 80% of the world calories consumed and 2/3 of the worlds protein consumed?
Animals are a horrifically inefficient way to feed a population, and even at the enormous rate we consume them (200m per hour) we still get the vast majority of our nutrition from plants
WAKE UP
Don’t believe that chart tbh
