That page tease pissed me off 😭 myamura made the reveal at the end seem more anticlimactic with him saying “you readyyyyyy?” when it could’ve been hype as f\*\*\* with a normal page show. I really thought uiui was about to get eaten lmao

The fight has taken a very anticlimactic turn rn which is odd. the tension was sky high during the Gojo Sukuna days but now this guy is just walking around. We got a panel of Uraume saying he is also not even trying rn. He still has Fire CT available. Its taken a strange turn where you dont even know whats happening. Sukuna needs to be pushed more imo and I dont know how thats gonna happen with people like Kusakabe and Miguel

Add to that that Uraume Hakari isnt even a figh and there is noway Sukuna will go out before Uraume. Yep we got a long way to go still

Not only that but Megumi isn’t doing s\*\*\* lol Well it just means none of them are strong enough. I just have a strong feeling they are going to still win and how that will be executed worries me. Or he just has Sukuna start the merger but he legit has to kill them. It’s unpredictable because there’s literally no more good guys. A big twist is going to happen after Miguel and whoever else is taken out. I just feel Gege should just have these lesser characters all be finished in one chapter now. Please don’t have an all Ino chapter lol

The breaks mess with the momentum of the gauntlet. I think that’s why people are thinking it’s a never ending cycle but it’s still only been 10 chapters of Sukuna raid. Gege just takes so many breaks like Oda does. I forget what chapter his breaks started but it’s consistently every two to three chapters then a break. So hoping we get an idea where this is heading in the next two chapters.

Naruto, Bleach, One Piece all 3 did that and I never liked it.

Especially Bleach when they called people like Kenpachi the strongest but he exclusively fights weakling minor villains

Narutos was way less egregious than One Piece. Especially because they were always groups of 3, so the enemies would also be 2 or 3 people. And not even all the time. Meanwhile in One Piece every arc has 1 fight for each member of the crew.

Tbh Naruto later on just ignored the sidecast more yeah. Was kinda what I expected from jjk too but quite the opposite happened

That’s why I love this, everyone is getting shine, EVERYONE. And if they aren’t fighting, it is explained why they aren’t. Like Kusakabe got shine like a main character. That’s so dope. Most mangas give a side character shine and it be boring as hell because there’s no potential there. JJK’s side characters are cool and aren’t being ignored. Gege does things cooler than other mangas. People are simplifying how this current arc is going and you can literally do that for any manga.

Agreed and 2 things:

1.It never made sense that people would just stand by while the protagonist 1v1 the main villain imo. Having multistage plans to use the individual strength is alot more realistic anf gives you this insane impression of sukuna in this case

2.while right now it seems a bit tedious because you just wanna get to the main part at the end of the day character get their arcs completed because they are truly pushed here. Since they arent going against some noname easy side villain they and we know that they will probably lose but because of this the characters emotional journey becomes more impactful to me. Higurama fighted for his redemption. Kamo (which is a severly underrated arc imo) saw from Maki that he is on a path of self destruction and chose his family. Kusakabe sees the flaws of his own cowardice

Kusakabe said all able bodies should fight and be ready to die and that’s exactly what’s happening. The reader is seeing it play out we just didn’t know how daunting it was going to be but it is showing how strong Sukuna is, and that the characters also knew they had a low chance of winning. Gege didn’t just have it happen all in one chapter because like you said he wanted to flesh out some characters. People are painting it as, praise and recycle and not seeing the character growth and dynamics happening. This chapter when Kusakabe expanding his simple domain and going ham was crazy, and then he had some more impact from Yaga’s death to not be a coward like you said. That’s great writing.

The payoff when the story gets backs to progressing the plot is going to feel so good after this fight. It’s just everyone is impatient but just let Gege cook.

Gojos ability would make it hard to fight alongside anyone, especially with the domain clashes. Although Yuta for sure would have helped him.

Sukuna couldve changed his tactic. One Domain and the cast is gone.
