How was this not that?
Lol this is not a fred biopic not even close. Fred had a life long before this snitch was around

it's definitely not a biopic by any means but I'd also argue it's not a story about the snitch mainly and IMO the film spends equal time with both of them
The wildest thing about these type of movies to me is how young these brothers really were. Like Malcolm and Martin were only in their 30s when they died and they did so much. Fred Hampton was f***ing 21 and started a movement so strong that the Feds wanted him dead. Makes you think what the f*** am I doing really?
Wasn’t that great..
1Lakeith
2Ashton
3Daniel
Lake and Ashton went crazy acting, Daniel was good but felt weird as Fred. Not a bad movie but I did expect sumn that’d live up to the rave reviews. Also felt like trauma P*** in some parts
This generation of actors and actresses just don’t have it to me. They don’t convey enough emotion and realness like the generation before them like Denzel, Viola, etc.
On the contrary I liked how this movie had Rel, Ashton Sanders, Lakeith, the guy he was arguing with from Sorry To Bother You, Daniel, Tracy From Atlanta, etc.
like they creating that similar solid foundation of black actors we had in the 70's-90's for our generation and in 10-20 years there will be hella movies where they all co star like this
One of my only gripes is how cartoony Daniel sounded sometimes. That nigga sounded crazy lmaoooo. Fred sounded like a smoove playa. Daniel at times sounded crazy. But some parts of his speech he got down pact. Other....Idk bout that
I never knew he talked with a British accent until I saw a clip on Twitter right before I watched this
So it's hilarious to imagine that this whole movie he was doing southern/midwest 70's nigga cosplay lmao
s*** def took a lil minute to get into lmao but he did a good job overall
People s***ting on Bill are idiots, he was a victim too, he was even younger than Fred, a f***ing baby, not even a street nigga either just a petty thief on occasion. He did what he had to do, I never once felt like he was in the wrong and it was a perfect balance with the contrast of morality on display between him and Fred/TBP. In the end, he was still a kid so idgaf.

Dawg wtf they’re all amazing lmao
Fat Damon is legit one of the best actors of this century. He slaughtered his role in Fargo that alone cemented him as GOAT

Nah you jus an oldhead
Was over a friends house and he turned it off cuz he said it was too deep for him...20 mins into the movie

I did too, then I thought about how TayK had niggas screaming free him after literally murdering a dude and thought this discrepancy is crazy cause if he had snitched on his mans who killed someone the narrative would be entirely different too. Feel like the snitch stuff should stay in gangs idk

Nah. He can rest in piss. He was much worse than what was shown in the movie.
