Great movie. Best take on UFOs/aliens I’ve ever seen. Not as good as Get Out, but not really comparable either. Weird feeling of being scared/happy at the same time.

I couldn't make it through THIS movie. Lol. As I stated earlier, his other movies were great, this one just couldn't captivate my attention.
Just one of those movies that doesn't pick up until the end of it and that's just what it is.
I can’t even fathom this… this movie kept my attention 100% the way through, even despite its flaws

Jul 23, 2022·2 repliesI really love how this movie took the alien genre as an occasion to reflect on human-animal relations. I wasn’t expecting it at all and it feels like a delightful curveball to move from Peele’s previous projects. I’m not sure how it compares in quality to the previous films but it’s certainly good enough to stand as another satisfying addition to his catalog.
The pivotal ‘eating’ scene also stands out to me as one of the more effectively disturbing scenes found in a recent blockbuster.

he did not like or dislike it because he couldnt make it through an hour
i would argue the attention span is a problem though

There’s no problem but complaining about a lack of point for most movies is a very bland/confusing critique. Especially for a movie like this where, while it does have interesting themes, it’s an alien genre flick, so, to paraphrase others, the ‘point’ is that there’s aliens.
