Well I mean you have your obvious people such as Nolan, Tarantino, Scorsese, Spielberg, Cameron. Greta Gerwig now cus of Barbie. I’d like to consider Kathryn Bigelow and Chloe.
Not to sound “woke” but when it comes to success or numbers I don’t think black directors or POC and females should be to the same standard as white male directors. This use to be a white mans sport for years and years which is now slowly turning.
