You have to campaign for 12 months. It's looking like a self financed movie without a big pickup so far. S*** like Nyad gets through with Foster/Netflix. Ronan isn't even close to JLaw. I just don't see it.

I just explained to you how these awards are the products of campaigns and producers. Causeway was A24 and part of their Apple deal. So again, not a BBC/Canal+ self financed joint. Ronan got Oscar play in big movies

Need this trailer so bad. I don’t wanna set unrealistic expectations, but at the moment I feel like the film is gonna have big over the top sets that look fantastical. And the fantastical scenes will be contrasted with super gritty scenes

That's just a press release laundered through IndieWire but yes, I would expect someone to distribute it besides StudioCanal. Hence why I brought it up. Then it will have to go over well outside Sundance with a campaign.

It's not as simple as "this person has won an Oscar before". I doubt this will be a wide release like Joker 2 and The Challenger.
