If you’re telling me the beginning wasn’t genius, I don’t know what movie you watched… the best scenes for me were during the court scenes, two in particular that made me say WOW out loud because of how good the acting and dialogue was and how clever the movie was being with its characters. It wasn’t a simple ARTHUR IS JOKER NOW, HES A CRAZY CLOWN NOW WATCH OUT! It was actually anything but. Which made the movie, and potentially both movies, more grounded

Probably around 30 mins of musical in a 2hr 20min movie. If that sounds unbearable for you, don’t bother. I didn’t find it too bad at all. Definitely not as often as people online are saying.

Musical aside, I can see how it could be boring to people, I found it incredibly interesting, but it’s a VERY dark film, much darker than the first one, despite his actions being probably worse in the first film.
