not rly tho lol most of it is just action/adventure, some of the first half of DIU is p much the only time the series nearly completely strays from that

I don’t think I look for slice of life from araki just bc of how memorable his fights are, but he’s not bad at it. Early Part 8 does a good job of being engaging even without a Jotaro, or Joseph or the familiar original universe stylings to lean on.

Should I read Part 7, or wait for the eventual anime release? I've heard that it's supposed to be the best part (going to be hard to top Part 4).

this definitely feels like a final arc kind of vibe but you could be right. For me the spin to josuke is equivalent to act 4 or requiem, one last little boost before we finish out. It’ll get explained but not really developed further
