The fact that they're definitions that show up on the internet doesn't mean that they're neutral or accurate. In the plainest possible terms, nationalism means that you think the group that you identify with is the best, and want to live in a separate area with only that group. When it's ethnic nationalism, that belief applies to certain racial group, but even with civic nationalism, it's still the exact same idea, but on cultural lines.
