It literally just went on presale like two days before the delay, so nah the delay has nothing to do with that lmao
And speak for yourself I've seen plenty of hype for it. Just cause people don't obsess over Bond every day the same way they do capeshit doesn't mean that there's "no hype"

for me November means I'll be able to watch it in IMAX 70mm (if they make any prints) or Laser when it drops, which wasn't gonna be possible for me in April, so I ain't too mad at the delay either

You know after watching an old, tired Bond begrudgingly skirt around the screen in the last movie and probably in the next too I’d like to see an older Bond that’s still into it and actually at the top of his game. And doesn’t have one foot out the door already.
3. The Cast of 21 Jump Street
Both these franchises are primed for a crossover. Half the s*** in Bond movies is laughable anyway. Let’s just make it 100% laughable.
2. Vin Diesel / The Fast & the Furius cast
Imagine how off the wall the gadgets and the stunts would be in this. Just let them go crazy.

Im actually very hyped for this movie. Ive seen all Daniel Craig’s Bonds in theaters.

Or they think delaying the movie and losing some money now is better than not delaying and losing more money. Low presale tickets and coronavirus are somewhat linked. All Im saying is the virus is not the only factor in this unprecedented decision.
This allows the studio to relaunch the marketing for a 3rd and hopefully last time.
You can get a rating without a final cut. Everything can change until the last minute. Also it’s not ideal for any studio to pick a release date like this. November and December 2020 were already crowded with big releases. Im not even sure the movie will debut at #1 against the next Disney’s animated movie on Thanksgiving weekend.
I hope it all works out because I love this franchise.
