November seems like a over-delay, I honestly feel like the whole coronavirus panic will die down by June. Should’ve delayed it until summertime.
I guess they wanna make sure they can repromote it hard and be safe on finding the window where audience comes back to the theater feeling comfortable
The writing was on the wall when they called off the Chinese premiere
I just hope that the Sky doesn’t fall by November so we could get a Royale moment of Solace.
Not surprised, thats probably why there was not a follow up trailer
I was wondering about that tbh
The fact that they think this won’t blow over till November is really concerning man

They don’t think that, this delay is purely for box office reasons. They’re tryna make as much money as possible. Delaying until November is just the studio being overly-cautious.

I don't think the extent of the delay is even about that in the first place, probably more to do with the fact that they had a solid release date where they didn't have too much competition that (initially) maximised their potential box office and they probably wanted a release date that gave them a similar kind of window and November was the best choice, as opposed to just pushing it back to summer when there are already a bunch of other blockbusters dropping, plus the fact that Bond movies are usually fall releases
I hope all this s*** leaks f*** these studios
it's not their fault lmao they have a business to run at the end of the day, it's a smart financial decision that you can't really get mad at
regardless of the studios, why do you want the people who worked hard on the movie to get f***ed because of a situation they have no control over?
Don’t hate on the studios trying to make money that’s their job along with making good movies so we can get more.

I agree with this in theory
would feel much stronger about it if major studios were willing to make anything outside of franchise ip these days

Noticed this also. Oddly enough ALL Craig bond films have had a November release date. No Time To Die would've been the first not released during that timeframe.
damn
was hyped for this
was gonna be the perfect date night movie for me and my girl but NOVEMBER??? idek if we’ll even be together by then!!
F9 most likely the next to be pushed. All they drink is f***ing coronas in that movie. Nobody wants to think about corona while watching a movie
And there's Mulan super f***ed because the marketing is done now. Are they gonna push it and spend another 100m+ just to market it again and to have it release in China? Or they release it now without China and the other markets will still be smaller than usual since nobody wants to be in a crowd right now.
The box office will be so interesting this year
We cant blame it on the virus 100%. Theres no hype for this. I think presale tickets were also very low. That’s probably the untold story here.
