Well with AI remixes about to become a real thing it’s essentially over creatively. You better worry about how you can get your piece of the pie

    Horriblementality lmao

  • But you can trust the music

If it sounds harrowing and beautiful, it’s good music

  • he wasn't sayin this when he was on a label

  • YHVH

    Go be a plumber then

  • KTT full of bots as well these days #fuck

  • These are all fixable by music and adjacent content simply making money which means streaming has to d*e or be reworked

But I'm not giving the instructions on how to do this without a salary, good insurance benefits and a corner office so I'm part of the problem #capitalism

They don't want to hear it but AI royalties (if you make it where AI remixes and s*** are a huge new content genre like TikToks) unfortunately could save the industry from a money POV. The question is whether or not labels are prepared to do the right splits (they probably arent) lol

    Also this

Everyone only wanna become Malcolm X when they are off the label or on the subjective downswing of their career

If everyone in the "industry" just said "we not doing s*** for 30 days" till you fix _ from Tyla to Jay to Beyonce to Drake to YB everyone's problems would be fixed. Music industry lockout

  • real the music industry is cooked

    That’s cap
If artists formed any kind of union or coalition they’d get dropped and replaced with new fresh hungry faces that are gonna shut up and do what they’re told.
And that’s an optimistic view. I really think it’d be a mix of new artists and AI.

Nigga I’m saying they would be REPLACED. By industry created players. They don’t have to be someone we know now.

Not even new hungry fresh faces

The reason musicians (not in every sector. Them broadway niggas know how to unite) never really been able to unionize or stage an actual strike is because musicians are the biggest w****s of the entertainment industry.

Meaning, as soon as a couple big musicians stage a strike or pull their songs off stream, a 100 other big musicians will just digitally “cross the picket line” and keep their stuff streaming.

It’s why Drake’s pov during his anti-UMG tirade was so funny cause he aint care bout none of this when he signed that contract in the first place when he was at the peak of his popularity when he could have literally changed the landscape of this industry if he had gone indie instead.

Music is too oversaturated with hungry poor niggas and dumb niggas that are dying to get a check they will happily take those shorts. Yeah they may not be YB but if the label put enough money behind them they can make the audience (that we know for sure in 2026 is dumb. I’ve heard AI covers getting played out of people cars outside here in nyc.) feel as if they the “next” YB.
