Give examples of countries where this has happened and worked and explain what these “rehabilitation facilities” entail. You can’t just reverberate something you’ve read on woke twitter without doing your research so you can’t break it down when someone asks.

Well first off, prison abolition isn't something I saw on "woke Twitter." Theres a whole host of literature and other research on it plus a bunch of research on why our entire correction system is inefficient

People who commit crimes of lesser seriousness should be held in rehabiliation facilities as a lot of crimes committed are caused by a variety of factors

People who commit more serious offences however should be kept in max security prisons

US jail system is gross anyway

I agree that white collar criminals who commit non violent acts like insider trading, Ponzi schemes, etc should be sent to rehab facilities not jail

Those who commit insider trading, Ponzi schemes and other financial crimes/white collar crimes are not going to be rehabilitated by a facility, they'll just see that as a slap on a wrist and find other ways to exploit others seeing as they didn't "go to a real jail"

@KZ First of all, those types of crimes are not going to exist whatsoever. As I've said, prison abolition is just one series in a host of reforms i'd institute. So it's an irrelevant question.
